Skip Little Axe McDonald is a true music legend with an incredible career that defines him as among the forefront blues musicians on the planet.
A member of the infamous Sugarhill house band, McDonald worked with Grandmaster Flash on such hip hop classics as The Message and White Lines; was the main musical contributor to the On U label which influenced generations of dub musicians; and tonight comes to Colchester for the first time to play music from his hugely acclaimed 2010 album Bought for a Dollar, Sold for a Dime.
